For a big family like ours, the perfect holiday would be a relaxing one where the adults can laze around while the children can entertain themselves playing in the pool and a big compound. This is why the Lotus Residence is PERFECT for us. There were 14 of us (9 adults and 6 children), and the 6 rooms villa can accommodate us just nice. Since we came to just relax, our 4D3N stay was a good period. We stayed in the villa most of the time, but we also made a trip to Tanah Lot to witness the beautiful sunset by the cliff. The villa is nestled in the middle of a paddy field village, and the area is quite remote as compared to commercialized districts like Seminyak or Kuta. We love the huge compound, which also includes a traditional rice barn-come-playhouse, serene spa area equipped with plunging pool, cold water water fountain pool, Jacuzzi and also a yoga area. The big pool is the heart of the villa where the kids mostly spend their time playing there. The highlight is of course, the water slide down the hilly lawn. The children absolutely loved it and they go on it every day!! The rooms are spacious, with an outdoor bathroom concept. It’s such a bliss to shower while starring at the moon and the stars. What you see in the website, is what you get. The villa comes with a team of staff for housekeeping, a chef to cook whatever you want to eat, a driver on standby to drive you to anywhere. Thanks to Ayu and Tobi from Private Leisure to make all the arrangements smooth and efficient. Most importantly, we thank Mr Perry (the villa manager) and his team for the kind hospitality, and excellent service. Would we go there again? DEFINITELY. Would we recommend this? WITHOUT A DOUBT, YES!
